What was the highlight of La City Mercado Hotel
Great Location and Good Value Overall.
The location was excellent - just near the central market hall and the Mercado tram station. The airport bus stop was just outside too. Staff were very friendly and able to help with any requests we had. The room was clean and serviced every day.
The room was extremely hot, even though we turned the heating off, and there was no way to cool the room other than open the window. As this hotel is on a busy main road, it was very noisy. Fortunately, ear plugs were able to combat this. Either ask for a room to the rear, or ensure ear plugs are present. If you like a very warm room - it is winter after all - there will be no issue. However, northern Europeans (like us from north-east England) may struggle.

Wonderful
Nice room in small new hotel within easy reach of station and town centre. Clean and comfortable.
Wifi kept dropping, but otherwise no problems.
